Ste-Sophie, January 20, 2017

It is this weekend, January 14-15, that Mailloux Racing began his season in the Canadian Snowcross Championship in Abitibi. This first round of the CSRA Circuit took place within the 7th edition of the Grand Prix International Snowcross de Rouyn-Noranda.

Practices were in the schedule on Saturday morning to enable all the riders to get some track times as the season gets underway. In the afternoon, just our Ski-Doo rider #880, Martin Mailloux, was in action in the Pro AM+30 class. He finishes in 4th place in both of his qualifying rounds, which gives him the 4th place overall. During the Sunday races, Martin ends up 5th in his two races, placing him 5th overall.

Our Ski-Doo rider #111, Nathan Mailloux, was looking forward to start his season on the CSRA Circuit on Sunday, racing in three classes. Nathan gets a strong start in Transition 8-12, with wins in his two qualifying rounds, and also in the final. In the Junior 10-13 class, Nathan got 1st to the checkered flag in the first round, but came 2nd in the second round, giving him the 2nd place overall. Nathan was also racing in the Junior F2 13-17 class, and he got two more wins, ending up 1st at the end of the weekend.
